Initially, Good Weekend commissioned me for a portrait of Joshua Bloom who was performing with Opera Australia. The session went well and I floated the idea of capturing him and the rest of the chorus backstage and amongst the vines at Balgownie Estate, Yarra Valley. They agreed.
